Elders @ The Club Conversion Dump

15 conversions for your elder Sims who are young at heart ❤️

A conversion dump for those of you who dump their Sims as soon as they start showing a few grey hairs. Just because they may have a replacement hip, arthritis and still own a landline - doesn't mean they can't still get down and dirty in the club, drop it like it's hot, and cling on to their lost youth.

Summary

Includes 15 elder conversions. 10 from Late Night and 5 from the base game. The prior require the Late Night expansion pack.

All CASPs have references linking back to resources already in the game files, most notably the textures. So if you have any texture replacements, like ones to reduce shine, they'll be applied to these CAS items too.

CAS items overview

• Body_BG_Swimsuit_plunge_EF: Swimwear, Random, Revealing, Maternity
  
  
  I didn't initially plan on converting this, but I needed a good reference for the Late Night bathing suit. The mesh required changes to it's UV to fix some distortion around the straps. I also tweaked the bones around the breast area. I'd say it's pretty tame compared to the other items, even with the boobsicles on show. Elders also have very little swimwear variety. So I enabled it for random.

  Many of the clothing items in this dump I think would look great on performer Sims, so most have been enabled for the career category. I suppose this one would also work well for other professions if you have certain mods installed.. I didn't have to do any tweaks to the morphs, which was nice.
  
  
• Body_LN_DressRhinestone_EF: Formalwear, Career, Maternity
  
  
  EA was very lazy eco-friendly when it came to this dress, as it's mesh is recycled from a base game dress. Coincidentally from a base game dress which EA also made an elder version of. You probably wouldn't know that because the elder version of that dress is hidden within the game files and disabled from showing up in your game (WTF EA?!). The dress I'm talking about is efBodyDressTight_halter. So for this conversion I have also reheated EA's nachos and used the mesh, morphs and bone deltas of that BG dress. I even went a step further and made it link back to the morphs and bone deltas in the game files (except for the maternity resources), to minimize package size. Oh and I also fixed a misplaced vertex at one of the fingers, typical EA.
  
  
• Body_LN_SwimThreeRing_EF: Swimwear, Revealing, Maternity
  
  
  This bathing suit has a nice long 3D tie hanging down at the back. Definitely a step up from the painted on ones from the base game. On the adult version EA even made sure this tie drapes down realistically on each morph, so I made sure to do the same.
  
  
• Bottom_LN_ClubChic_EF: Everyday, Formalwear, Career, Maternity
  
  
  This was one of the first conversions I started and one of the last I finished. The fat and maternity morphs were kinda tricky to get right. It's a good thing there's nothing under EA dresses and skirts, or your grannies would be flashing other Sims left and right while wearing this.
  
  
• Bottom_LN_SwimVNeck_EF: Swimwear, Revealing, Maternity
  
  
  This was a pretty simple conversion. It's just a texture and it fits perfectly well on the mesh of the base game bikini bottom. Surprised no one has converted it yet. I'm guessing it's because the matching top required a bit more work. Again, the CASP has references linking back to morphs and bone deltas already in the game files, except for the maternity ones.
  
  
• Shoes_BG_AnkleAHiHeelPointy01_thighHighBoot_EF: Everyday, Formalwear, Career, Outerwear
  
  
  You're probably already running away screaming in fear upon seeing the cursed hooker boots on your screen, but I can assure you these are perfectly safe, being only enabled for elders and definitely disabled for random. No stripper babies to be found here! Iykyk. It's one of the few shoes EA cared to give a normal map to, which cuts off at the ankles because these boots are painted-on at the legs.. Anyways, now your Sims won't have to retire from their pole dancing career once they turn elderly, hooray!
  
  
• Shoes_LN_WedgeBoots_EF: Everyday, Formalwear, Career, Outerwear
  
  
  These actually look more seamless on elders, literally, because for some reason EA messed up the normals at the ankle seams on the adult version. These were the last Late Night shoes left to be converted. The amount of shoes Late Night came with without giving any to teens or elders is criminal! These look pretty tame paired with a casual outfit and come in quite neutral colors, so I left them enabled for random. Just make sure your elders bring their cane for balance.
  
  
• Top_LN_Beaded_EF: Everyday, Formalwear, Career, Maternity
  
  
  This is one of my favorite EA tops. Can look either sultry or classy depending on what you pair it with. I think EA's intentional was for you to pair it with the skirt and shoes from the same pack as shown in the preview. It's still a pretty hot look, you can't deny.
  
  
• Top_LN_SwimVNeck_EF: Swimwear, Revealing, Maternity
  
  
  Almost as straightforward as the matching bottom, but not quite. I used the mesh of the base game bikini top, but I did have to edit it's UV to match the original mesh. I was considering just reshaping the original mesh, but it was missing an entire row of vertices at the neck for some reason. Once again, references morphs and bone deltas already in the game files, except for the maternity ones.
  
  
• Shoes_BG_AnkleALowHeelRound01_shoeDeckLeather_EM: Everyday, Formalwear, Career, Random
  
  
  I was very surprised when I found out that EA didn't make an elder version of these boat shoes. These are absolutely perfect for your rich retired grandaddies to wear around on their yachts. Honestly the shoes category is quite lacking in general, while being the easiest to convert. I may make a full shoes conversion dump in the future for the EA shoes yet to be converted to teens and elders.
  
  
• Top_LN_JacketFormalCeleb: Everyday, Formalwear, Career
  
  
  GASP, his shirt is slightly unbuttoned - call the modesty police! Yeah EA kinda dropped the ball when it comes to scandalous clothes for males. But hey, if looking at grandpa's cleavage is your thing then I've got the perfect tops for you! Something for your Sim's husband to wear while he's working overtime with Sandra from accounting.

  Now this is as revealing as it can get, almost full geriatric manboobs on display. One of the few EA tops I'd leave the shine the same for, it looks fabulous in it's full satin glory.
  
  
• Top_BG_ShirtCollarHalfOpen_EM: Everyday, Formalwear, Career
  
  
  A top you're probably familiar with if you're too lazy to clean your Sim's home. It's a shame EA made the adult version only available for your maids to wear. Doesn't seem very appropriate to be scrubbing toilets in, but what do I know. Actually the bartender at the rooftop pool was copying my Sim's look by also wearing this shirt, so I took it off of him (you're welcome).

  Only two unbuttoned buttons, what is this prudish nonsense! Well I ran out of loose shirts to convert. There is one more in the LN pack, but the lovely sweetdevil has already converted it: link. There may be a few more in other packs, but for this dump I wanted to stick to Late Night and base game only. It was also an easy-peasy conversion, since there's an almost identical mesh in the Supernatural pack, which is a ripped up version of this shirt meant for werewolves I guess. So I used that and it's morphs as a reference for this shirt, accounting for the missing sleeve of course. This is actually the only conversion that comes with a texture file. Each preset had this kind of tacky floral design included in it's overlay. So I've included an overlay texture with it removed, applied to the first and third preset. It's still there on the second preset because as you can see, I love me some tacky Sims.

Extra info

So for my first EA age conversions I wanted to do something fun. I picked some of the CAS items of which I'm certain nobody else would even think of converting them. Meaning I felt little pressure on quickly finishing any of these. :p

All CAS items are cloned from their adult counterparts. Each clothing item has the same presets as the adult versions. The polycounts of each mesh are also the same as the adult ones, including the lower LODs, except for the cases where I reused an EA elder mesh. Of course each LOD has been properly reshaped and morphed to match the elder bodies. I have also replaced the bone deltas, using ones from existing elder CAS items.

As you can see above all the female conversions have maternity morphs. These morphs are compatible with maternity enabled clothing by sweetdevil, which are similar to EA's adult maternity morphs in the sense that they also increase your Sim's overall weight a bit. They also line up at the waist with the preg morphs by SimplexSims, but those don't come with any weight gain as far as I'm aware.
I made sure to give them all proper bone deltas too, so your Sim's hands won't clip into the pregnant bellies.
Elder male morphs were originally included, but they looked so bad that I scrapped them.

Each CAS item has the thumbnails already included inside it's package file. These are just the EA generated ones, but it saves your game some work.
