Better Restaurants Mod (+ New Food Delivery Service)

New and shiny restaurants have made their way to TS3! Taking your sim out to eat (or ordering in) is now much more exciting!

Requirements
The Business as Usual Oven Store Content for this to work as intended. Animations, props, and some assets will not function otherwise.
The Island Paradise EP is needed for some strings in the Expense Dialog.

Getting Started

Buy a restaurant oven and set up shop.

Business management is very similar to my 2t3 Boutique mod (https://simblr.cc/ts3/mod/2228-2t3-boutique-mod.html). Create shifts, choose working days, wages, uniforms, and hire employees from around town.

Make sure to set the menu and choose the mark up too!

Employee Roles

Hire employees and choose any combination of roles for them to fulfil. You can run a restaurant, or a bar, or both!
Choose from:

• Chef,
• Waiter,
• Greeter,
• Bartender

Don't worry if you can't fill all the roles. Where there is a sim missing, the existing employees will pick up the slack depending on their own assigned jobs. For example: chefs will take on waiter jobs when there are no waiters or greeters. Greeters will take on waiter jobs when there are no waiters.

Dine In

Take your sim out solo or in groups.

Podium
If there's a worker at the podium, you can be seated according to availability (you can also ask about the menu and see how expensive things are if you want).

You'll also see NPCs dining. They'll join the podium queue, just like your active sim.
If they have friends on the lot, they may automatically eat together.

Menu
If there's no podium, or greeter, sims can order direct from the menu.
While in the process of ordering, you can also click on other free menus and ask sims to dine

Delivery Options

Sims can order delivery from any open restaurant in town and the money will go to the restaurant owner. Choose any dish from the restaurant menu, as long as you can afford it.

If there's nothing open yet, order a Chinese takeaway instead.

Restaurant Management

The level of restaurant management is up to you. The more restaurant items you add to the lot, the more you'll have to account for the business finances.

Keep track of your costs and pray you can make a profit!

There are some optional features when it comes to financial management.

• Buy a restaurant fridge: then it will cost your sim money to make food unless you keep the fridge stocked.
• Buy a bar and hire a bartender: then it will cost your sim money to make drinks, but the restaurant will also keep the earnings.
• Pay for advertising: hopefully the extra foot traffic makes up for the fee.

Please note that many of these values can be adjusted in the tuning xml.
