Finding a way that some of my Sims might outlive me

That's the outfit Andrew was wearing to visit prospective clients in the recent building contest. The top is Maxis base game, but IMAO quite good. The bottom is a conversion by Deedee. It's for teens upward for both sexes. I think the teen version is slaved from the adult version. I'll send it to you if you have difficulty finding it on tumblr -- not the easiest place to find things.

Julian has changed into his pyjamas -- or what he's using for pyjamas just now! It's just his white tie-side briefs. When he first arrived in Andrew's life, Julian seldom wore anything else, These briefs are something of a uniform among Veronaville's gay teenage boys. Nearly every gay boy in the town has a pair, and quite a few straight boys too. Mostly they wear them as undies, and quite a few wear them as swimwear too.

Neither are bothering with anything you might call pyjamas. Actually Andrew does have a set of base game sky blue pyjamas, and I think he looks quite fetching in them, but I only recall seeing him wear them once. His friend Mallory Mace had come round to play chess with him, and she was still there at midnight. Gloria said to him, "Ask Mallory to stay the night. It''s too late for her to walk home to Downtown."
Andrew wasn't keen. "Where will she sleep?" he said.
Gloria said, "Andrew, you've got a double bed. She can sleep with you."
"But mum," said Andrew, "She might get ideas."
"You little prude!" said Gloria. "Mallory has known you for years. She knows perfectly well that you're gay. She won't have any 'ideas'!"
So Andrew relented. But he changed into his long pyjamas, and insisted that Mallory do the same. Just to make it perfectly clear that they were there to sleep, and not to do anything else!

Now they have changed into their gym clothes, but it doesn't look much difference. Andrew's are these denim briefs by Noogie666

Julian has just changed his formal outfit to these two pieces from his wedding outfit.

These are the Valentine's Day gifts that the boys exchanged back in 2013. They really have managed to stay teens for a long time

Three Julians + Jack Gill
The boys have been very patient with me as I asked them to change into various outfits and pose for pictures, but I thought, to save bothering them more, I would go to CAS for this last picture. A bit of clever camera-work has allowed Jack Gill to meet up with three Julians!
On the left Julian is wearing his Cloudnine red and white briefs, that he used as his PJs in my early game. They are quite brief, but they provided marginally more coverage than the tie-side briefs (2nd from left) that he initially wore for everything else. That included going to school, where he remained liked by the teachers, on account of his good behaviour, helpful demeanour and studious attitude. Or maybe they just liked looking at him.

By the time I had been playing for about seven weeks, he was starting to wear short denim shorts (third from the left) some of the time.instead of the tie-side briefs. You will no doubt notice that all Julians outfits (especially these early ones) are quite minimal. He really doesn't like the feel of textiles next to his skin, so, while eschewing complete nudity, he prefers to restrict clothing to a tiny covering round his loins, to keep himself almost decent! Andrew loves the way that Julian dresses!

Which brings us to Jack Gill on the right. You will no doubt notice that he's wearing the same shorts as Julian. Well actually Jack's all in one outfit is one of my very first CC downloads. I possibly downloaded it even before I made Andrew and Gloria, while I was messing about in Body Shop before starting to play. I have a Sim in Body Shop wearing it. He looks a bit like Jack but not exactly. I originally found this outfit when doing a Google search, which returned part of in the WCIF section of an unknown Sims website. The WCIF was in English and someone was looking for a teen outfit with short shorts. They were surprised when someone suggested this outfit with a bare midriff. They hadn't thought of that, but it seemed OK to them. Anyway I downloaded it and the zip contained five files: four teen versions like Jack's with cleaner and dirtier T-shirts, and blue and grey denim shorts, and one slightly different adult one. (You'll dee that later; it was Garry's first outfit.) I'mno enyirely sure where this download came from. I usually keep the .zip and .rar files that my downloads come in, but this was very early in my Simming life, and I hadn't started doing that yet. When I repeated the search a couple of weeks later, it no longer returned this result. Bur by that time I had downloaded it and was using it in my game. I think it's Korean. The five outfits all say "Daum-Naver" in their mouseover- tips in CAS.

AS there wasn't all that much of the sort of stuff I wanted available, I started making my own, using the Daum-Naver ones as a starting point. Hence I mad a topless version for Julian and Sims like him. I also made separate versions, including the light blue ones that Andrew likes. I added shoes and sandals to some of them.
