Huh, and here I thought I was pushing it at 731 MB.
87 Folders
433 Loose Files
and I'd wager almost half the overall files are various fixes and script-based mods.
(I just checked and I have more mods in TS2 than I have in TS3 wha-)

I'd organize better, but I don't want to chance having anything blow up due to something being dependent on placement.

5,39GB..

6362 files, 369 folders

my defaults are the biggest part of CC. My medieval is 1.72GB but sometimes swap back to my uberhood which has 500MB defaults so when not playing medieval its around 4GB

Only takes a few minutes to load

Do defaults count against the object limit, or not since they same the same GUID as a Maxis object?

Depends what kind of default - if it's just a texture or plain (GMDC) mesh default, then no. If it contains an OBJD, then possibly.

I don't think anyone has confirmed the limit - if it's there, how high it is, or found what exactly counts toward the limit besides plain CC items (multi-OBJD items? Object recategorizers? Unhiders? All OBJDs in the Downloads folder?...) - at this point it's up to guesswork, trial and failure, and each person's individual Downloads folder.
