Thank you for that tip as well! T.O.O.L. seems to be a very versatile mod. For the moment, with "move objects on", using a wall-mounted OMSP shelf to set the object's height and then dragging with the ALT key pressed is a solution.

I'm frankly bewildered by this. My Sim sent a flirty text to his boyfriend. They agreed to meet up for a drink. However the other guy, Allen, didn't show up. I then used the Sim Teleporter by Andrew to force the guy there. Allen showed up, I added him to the group but as soon as I went into live mode the guy left again. I sent another text and got the same "let's go for a drink" message and a prompt to chose were. As this point I just gave up. It's was on a Sunday aswell. I guess the Sim was working, but why agree to meet up then?

I found a solution elsewhere. Which includes, repairing the game and reset the Sims 4 folder. It works, for now at least.

Is there a mod or a way to automatically 'unlock' the self-discovery traits for a Sim? Like with MCCC or similar?
I want to replace some of the premade Sims with ones I made myself, and I'd like their self-discovery traits to be there for variety.

I'm pretty sure MCCC lets you add any type of trait in the game to a Sim.

You can add the traits via ui cheats.

Any infos on Life & Death being a neat EP to have? Given the sale till Nov 3rd 2025, I was thinking of getting it.
I've only seen bits and pieces of gameplay, mainly in form of the Bucket List (which sounds like it can have some really ODD things the Sim wants to do) and a notice of the Grim Reaper being after you after having a near-death experience like getting shocked while repairing things. But I don't know how much it can bring or how much 'fun' it would be? My sims tend to be rather 'safe', I suppose, they rarely get into dangerous situations.

It's great if you play with ghosts as it fleshes them out with a skill tree and new abilities. It includes a Graveyard lot type and you can actually hold funerals.

Considering that TS4 is one of those games where you play the equivalent of Russian Roulette every time you update or install a pack, what patch level or DLC number would people say is the ‘sweet spot’ for TS4?

Where you have enough DLC to have a well-rounded game, where everything is in reasonable working order, but where things aren’t so old that newer mods aren’t incompatible?

Is it normal for any infant/toddler's needs to crash drastically while 'At Daycare'?
Here's a pic of a toddler's needs shortly upon being sent to Daycare while the parents are off the lot, and her needs upon returning. Her hunger or energy went up a little bit while gone, but it was mostly just crashing horrendously.

Also, odd glitch where any infant/toddler that returns from Daycare has only "More Options" when clicked on with other Sims. Gotta go to Manage World or something to reset the lot and be able to interact with them again.
