A friend of mine has a cat like that. He's been bitten and nearly died, but does that stop him? Nope. He is somewhat aptly named Minxy and he and his son Lucky are double trouble.

The Alien was hit by a car and the vet removed his hip bone, telling me because he is small and light, he would be fine without it. The vet was right, The Alien caught more snakes after that!

Thought I would start a magic mushroom shop. The idea is to run it and see which of my sims buys the most amount of mushrooms and I can see who is the biggest stoner

I'm just curious to see if anyone else has a particular feature they focus on when making new sims. Mine is noses. I swear I spend more time making their nose just right then I do making the rest of the sim sometimes.

Give them the perfect nose job...

Are they actually usable?

I don't believe so. They are under Decorative - Sculpture
You can place them and view them only.

I found the biggest stoner though. I have not controlled any sim to buy mushrooms, she went to the store and purchased them without me telling her to do so. Others also have done the same but not purchased as many. She also likes the toilet store

@Legate One of my sims sells these in Lacuna Delta:

The challenge was to get at least one in the inventory of every sim in the hood!

I have just seen one of my sims cleaning a window.
In all my years of playing I have never seen that before. When I make a sim I usually give them 2 or 3 points of neatness so they don't flood the bathroom when having a shower and hire a maid for the rest. However I befriended a female police officer and asked them to move in. They have 9 points into neatness and one day just started cleaning a window with a sponge.

This game can still surprise me after all these years. The last time was someone giving themselves a sponge bath at a sink.

Hey everyone and of course @Tashiketh I just realised today is the second day of May, so that means it's Modthesims' birthday! Founded 2nd May 2004. So Modthesims is 21 today!

Have a look at early Modthesims, there is an announcement about the game release in the news!

For me it's their mouth. I always, but always, give them a smile. Usually I make extensive use of sliders, both Maxis and custom ones, but my very newest Sim generated in CAS with Face 1, and the only change I made was turn up the corners of his mouth to give him a happy-looking smile. He looks gorgeously and irresistibly cute! I must post some pictures of him. I must have done this from the beginning, as Andrew, my very first Sim, has a really disarming smile. I just can't be cross with him when he smiles. And those aren't wrinkles at the sides of his mouth -- they're smile lines.

In contrast I hardly pay any attention to eyes a all. I just leave them with whatever Maxis eye colour they generate with. In our western culture we are supposed to look each other in the eye when talking to them. To fail to do so can lead others to think that we're shifty and dishonest. But I feel very uncomfortable with this. If I look into somebody's eyes, even a Sim's, I feel I'm staring at them. I almost feel I'm trying to look into their soul. I involuntarily avert my eyes and look somewhere else. (My sister thinks I'm on the autism spectrum.) As a result of not looking, I don't even know the eye colour of most of my Sims. I hope my Sims don't think I'm shifty and dishonest! My refusal to look people directly in the eye may be one reason why I never been in a romantic relationship, neither gay (as I self identify) nor straight. But don't worry about me. My Sims more than make up for me!! I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- I live my love life vicariously through my Sims. I think over half my Sims are gay, and many of them are Romance too. Most of then have very full love lives.

While I don't spend much time on their actual eyes, I nowadays give all my Sims (including boys) eyelashes, and I often give them glasses too. Combined with an emo/yaoi hairstyle, the glasses can make them look really cute. Douglas Cockburn, the new boy I mentioned at the start of this post, has a particularly cute little pair of "Demused Sim" glasses by HystericalParoxysm! I really must post a picture of him!

I'm tempted to plop my Hogwarts lots back into my WIP neighborhood and start editing at least the two castle lots into a Christmas-decorated version. I blame two things- first, growing up with ABCFamily inexplicably convinced that Harry Potter movies were Christmas movies, and so seeing them on constantly when my IRL house was all decorated for the holidays, and second, the fact that when I was doing the interiors of the castle as it currently stands, I eventually decided to go with a non-functional (due to being a diagonal room) but aesthetically correct version of the 'normal' Great Hall with the four house tables, but I had given a not-inconsiderable amount of thought to the Yule Ball version of the Great Hall as a way of actually allowing functional dining tables there...

I kind of like an interesting nose! I may, to be honest, make them more crooked, or longer, and kind of leave Benjamin Long's nose alone on everyone (yes, I still use maxis templates, and my default skin is maxi match).

Contrary to @AndrewGloria, I am trying to get that permanent grin off their faces, because I am pretty sure they have to walk around with painful muscles in their faces, so I tend to turn the corners down a bit and try to have the mouth looking a bit more relaxed.

The eyes are probably where I should spend more time! Calling one of your sims "Big Eyes" behind his back and completely forgetting his name in my hood should explain why

This is the link. BTW, I was incorrect-Chris Hatch did not have anything to do with them, because the horses do not obey the CLT boundaries-so if you do go to a CL when you return it will be the same time as when your pixel left.

The horses that can be ridden to a lot are Chris Hatch's. Becks' horses can only be ridden around a lot.

I don't know where the original mod is, but I already uploaded them on SimFileShare with Vicky. http://www.simfileshare.net/download/4480490/

The original mod would be Beck's actual horses but I don't know if anyone was able to save them when she died and her site shut down. I know that some people were able to save a lot of her things (because I gave them what files I had at the time for the effort) but I'm not sure if the animals she did were some of those that were saved.

I know that I probably do have the actual original files (being a pack rat does have it's points) but I think these are better than the originals which were pretty raw in comparison..and even now they're still funky at times.

The clipping is still horrendous and there's been a few occasions where I had to use MOO to get the rider apart from the horse itself.

I finally finished rebuilding the deBateau apartment. Unfortunately there are still 4 more units to do in that lot, this will take ages...

I've been on a Sims hiatus lately, but in my down-time I did end up making a tier list of the premades based on how likely I'd go on a date with them.

Don't worry, I haven't gone crazy... yet
