The skin overlay is located in the acne category. I'll try changing the category and see what happens.

When Sims are exported they don't with bones/

Ms3d and dae export with bones. The obj format doesn't support bones, if that's what you mean. .

Export for dae keeps crashing.

Again, it's working for EA sims so this doesn't tell me much. Please give me the full text of the error message, and a list of the CC on the sim you're trying to export as DAE with links to where I can download them. A screengrab of the error showing the list of CAS items on the sim would be helpful too.

All it says is "Not Responding". The program turns into a transparent white. I am not using CC.

However, it eventually works. When I open the dae in Blender, the texture doesn't appear

I did warn in the description that saving DAE takes a long time. You just have to be patient.

The DAE contains only the mesh, you have to import the textures in Blender yourself. I may link them into the DAE eventually but don't want to take the time now.

Oh my goodness thank for explaining! Honestly, I had no idea what was going on. I'm gonna figure how to import the textures onto the model in Blender. I'll need to find a tutorial.

I wish I could help you but I hate Blender and find it incomprehensible, even with tutorials. Maybe someone else here could give a few instructions, I'm sure it's easy once you know how.
