Does anyone know how to unlock this light ? Picture is taken from the EA Help thread unsolved since last year.

I've only seen it in buydebug mode. It has varieties that match the dyes for fabrication. It must have something to do with the fabricator but I couldn't find it by unlocks from career or "enthuse" social interactions.

By clicking the button on the first post called Me Too, and resurfacing the thread by posting in it you will signal to EA that customers want the bug fixed. There are only 5 Me Too (one more now because I clicked it), and the so called superusers do not forward the bug reports to the SimGurus until they have around 10 Me Too's; and then the waiting for it to be prioritized. Bugs that get attention are more often fixed than those that don't.

I just looked in the save where I have a sim with level 10 in Fabrication, and all the other recipes learnt; but did not have that lamp available on the machine. A couple of the recipes the sim learnt by talking excessively to the Master Maker server sim; but otherwise I know of no tips sorry.

Yes, I agree. If you dislike the bug process EA has set in system I would recommend posting about it in Feedback sections on their forums.
