I have CC done by LientebollmeiS21 he or she left this site and took 1000's of uploads with her off this site and onto her blog at

I downloaded her "Nursing Assistant PTO 1 2 and 3" career but the file. Is apparently called nothing like that. and I can't find it I've tried looking through her or his or his blog site I can't find the file name it does not show up as anything I can just recognize

it has to be one of those 100's of random gibberish files in my downloads folder. I've tried typing in the Nursing PTO career in the windows specific folder search and it comes up blank I typed in PTO nothing, nursing, nothing I typeing in AS as in Assistant and nothing

I have a ton of CC and I downloaded without knowing version 1 2 and 3 of this file and now I get the same career choice like sometimes 3 times when my sims find a job.

I can't delete a single one of these repeated careers because I don't know what the file is called. It seems impossible to find 2 files that are not named anything that describes it

I need help I doubt you can help me too, because this file is named in some gibberish just like all the rest of 99% of my downloads

any tips on how to find some kind of gibberish file through maybe SimPE? can I use SimPE to find a career download can someone please tell me how I can locate 2 of these 3 career files thanks

I found out she uses CC for all of her PTO version I deleted the duplicates and I will just use "boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true" and I will shift click the sim trash can for all sims that have the jobs I deleted and they should re-appear fine "after I click reset" and without a job as far as I know if they were gone to work I am not worrying about corruption because I think all I need to do now is that. feel free to correct me if I'm wrong maybe this will help you too

So I went to my downloads folder and highlighted a random download and pressed the letter C multiple times until I came across this download (example)

I restored these files from the windows recycle bin and placed them in a folder outside of my sims just in case I need them

If you run the Clean Installer against your Downloads folder (by using the "Choose Directory" option in the upper right to point to your Downloads folder) , it will show the type of each of your downloads. So it can differentiate between clothing, mods, floors, makeup, etc. even for files with those gibberish names. It will also highlight duplicate downloads (where the MD5 values are the same). Using it might help make sense of some of those downloads.

^ Clean Installer is mostly a program to install downloaded lots and sims with. It lets you choose what to install, and you can untick things you don't want. You can see the names of the files, roughly what it is, and get a quick preview. It also marks some mods/hacks if they're included (they'll show up in other colors than white).

The default installer can cause some trouble, like renaming CC files to random names, and if that happens you don't really know what it installs until you can test out the files in your game.

The Clean Installer can also be useful for sorting through downloads. You can't always see what's what - it doesn't read any kind of file (seems to not read defaults, repo'd files, and some others as full files, even though they work fine ingame) but if you're on the hunt for something spesific, it can be helpful.

If you're just wondering about single files, SimPE is fine, too. The structure of the file usually tells you what the file is for, and sometimes you can see changes done, but it depends how much you know in SimPE. If you can't easily spot the difference between two different files in there, then it's probably better to find a different method.

If you know the name of the file you're looking for, and you know you have duplicates that may or may not have different names, but it's not coming up in searches, you can try to use an asterisk in front of a search word, for instance
*nursing
Then all files with the word "nursing" should come up, even if it's buried within the filename, with letters before or after. Otherwise only searches containing "nursing" as a standalone word or at the start of a word in the will show up.

--> searching for CCACNursing or *Nursing would work
--> searching just Nursing would not work
--> searching the whole filename might not work if there are updated files with other dates at the end.
--> Searches containing - and various special characters can be a bit iffy, sometimes they work, other times they only work if you get a hit on the whole filename. This one in particular is used as a minus sign, so if you search for instance "hat -curls" (with or without the "") you should in theory search for hats but not curls.

lientebollemeis has removed her downloads here, but she's still on MTS. Her last post here was two day ago (19th January), and she was online here on MTS last night! I've always found her very helpful. Try contacting her.

I figured she was still a member and was on but I didn't want to bother her. With this because I respect she is a vary hard working and quality creator and she does her hard work for free I did not want to burden her with this, I respect her, I thought it would be highly disrespectable to contact her about deleting something she worked so hard to create and gave it to me. I kept 1 of her 3 Nursing PTO careers and pluming and another one, I have a lot of her content and love her work. I just was confused and download 6 repeated career uploads that were created by her.

Creators I don't think want to be bothered with someone asking to how to delete their work, I think that would be kind of an insult to her and I just didn't want to do that to someone who worked so hard and didn't ask to get paid for the hard quality work

I kept her blog in my bookmarks on my browser and download 4 more of her careers after I made this post this morning thank you @lientebollemeis
