As far as I know nobody went over this in a Loooong time and by deleting a sub hood with sims in it, will THAT delete any of the sims character files for the main hood? if you already know if you ever delete sims using the in game delete button Will cause corruption but what about deleting an entire sub hood with sims living in it, Why has the internet never posted anything on this? so far it's only been 18 years since The Sims 2 came out.

Or if that don't is that a safe way to delete sims, ahhhh? I don't think so but that is why I'm asking this question because I don't know because I am not a sims 2 expert

I believe it tosses playables into the sim bin and townies into the main hood. Or something like that.
If you want sims gone its better to kill them and have a graveyard. -The sims still exist only form has changed.
If you really want sims gone-use empty templates.
If you want to risk it they can be deleted with the batbox and SimPE etc- never done so and wouldn't do that myself.

Sell businesses and move graves to Sims' inventories or to a lot in a different subhood. No need to move families out, they'll end up in the bin.

Done the batbox method with a Sim once, it was slow and even though they only knew one other Sim I still to this day wonder what, if anything lingered. Honestly I find it easier, safer and faster to modify that Sims' appearance in game and then Data in SimPE to turn them into someone completely different. (Existential Horror much...)
From my experience the Sims are dropped into the SimBin as Jo said. No one dies, especially with Nounlinkondelete.

There's a better way to deal with the setting up your first shopping district or downtown district HERE and it's what I installed in my game shortly after installing UC as a critial fox for when my town expanded to the point where my main district was getting crowded.It allows a custom downtown terrain template or shopping district template to be selected right away without needing to start with |th default dlwntown or shopping districts first.That was a requirement if this isn't installed and that caused a lot of issues on my old computer with the disk version I had installed on that computer.
