This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Need to expand the terrain paint brush sizes and shapes if possible
This has been one of my longstanding irritations regarding terrain paint brushes in The Sims 3. There's no way to get really small or really large brushes. Or really soft or really strong brushes. I have uploaded screenshots of a couple of the lots that I'm working on.

As you can see, I have been having a lot of difficulty making sure that all the terrain paint that was there before applying the new terrain paint is completely covered. I really want to be able to expand the limit of the terrain brush size and strength. So that I can fit the brush inside areas that it normally can't fit without covering more terrain than I intend it to.

Not sure whether or not that's possible. But if it is, please tell me what I have to do or what mods I need to download in order for this to be possible.

I don't want to use a soft brush. Because I'll still be able to see the original terrain underneath. Which is why it has to be a smaller brush than what's currently available. But it has to be the maximum strength.

I want to avoid touching the area between the footpath and the grass. At least for now. But I'm finding it impossible to go over all of the grass and all of the footpath without accidentally going over the area in between. I want to be able to completely cover the Clover that existed before I added the Dark Rural Grass. Without covering any of the Redwood Mulch. I also want to completely cover the Redwood Mulch that existed before I went over it with Gravel.

The terrain that was there originally was a mixture of Redwood Mulch and Gravel. Most of it was Gravel. But it wasn't 100%. Which is why I wanted to make the Gravel opacity stronger. Normally I cover up the bits that I don't want to go over with floor tiles. Though depending on where the area I want to cover starts and stops, that method isn't always 100% reliable. Though more reliable than if I didn't cover certain parts with floor tiles.

Here is what it currently looks like. However I'm rather irritated and sort of regret going over the grass and gravel in the centre. Because the terrain outline is no longer faithful to the default. And I don't have any easy ways to try and recreate the terrain outlines that the lot had originally.

I like the centre lane. I'm just irritated that the rounded grass areas between the three lanes aren't the same shape as they used to be. Though if I was able to get the outlines back to how they were before, there is a chance that I might actually prefer how they are now.

Yeah, it is. And I'll probably get over it once my mind focusses on someone else in the game.
