Default Can't place alarm clock on this bedroom end table
Can someone please tell me why I can't place an alarm clock on the Louisiana Bedroom nightstand? I've included pictures.

This is the nightstand I am wanting an alarm clock on:

And this is the message I get when trying to place it:

Thanks in advance for any help. If it's an easy fix I might be able to do it with instructions. LOL BUT I am not skilled in this sort of stuff at all....I can follow directions though....sometimes...hehehe

While the description says it's a nightstand, they most likely cloned a coffee table. Many base game coffee tables do not allow alarm clocks in the surface slot.

Thanks for the insight Lunie. You are always so helpful. I appreciate it a lot. I take it then it can't be fixed and it would have to be remade to allow for an alarm clock to be placed on it...and that may not be allowed by the original creator.

You can anything you like for your own use. But since that site is long dead, I wouldn't even worry about sharing any fixes.

I tried to just change the slot value to allow for different weighted objects, but it didn't work. I think the quickest way is to remake it. If you don't have the time or ability to remake it, maybe use and end table omsp?

If it is a coffee table, you can activate the stack object's data 4 allowed height flags 2 (on low table) on the clock. A person can approach the clock on a coffee table, even if his hand doesn't quite line up with it.

Where can I find this custom object to try it?
