Possible to have retail store and theater on residential lot with clerks living onsite?
I think I've made things too complicated for myself.
I have a residential lot with a haunted museum, where the owner (my Sim) lives on the top floor.
There's also a parking lot, and a gift shop with theater/private club below and an apartment above.
My plan:
Locked doors and visiting hours for the museum, so people could visit but there would still be private areas, like the kitchen and owner's apartment.
The theater and club would be by invitation.
The gift shop has specific hours. I was going to just hire clerks, but decided I want 2 goth girls living in the apartment above to run the shop.
I'm worried now that I should have started with a community lot, but my research said you couldn't live on a community lot. Should I have made separate lots? Residential for the mansion, a community lot for the shop/theater/club/parking lot? Should the goth girls be roommates of the owner so they're part of the same household, but still be hired clerks?
