This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default EA App attempting to "repair" my UC game.
Hi I don't know if anyone else has encountered this. I've just rebuilt my game after many years and am playing with clean hoods and stealth hoods. Because I've messed around with these files, EA is registering my files as corrupted and wants to repair them. As I've already been through this process, I know that EA repairing my files means replacing the clean hoods with the originals. Does anyone know a workaround, so that I can launch my game?

If you have a Sims2EP9.exe file from the Origin version of Ultimate Collection that you used before which avoided the Origin app, you could try renaming the existing exe file in the Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin to something else, putting the old exe file there in it's place and then creating a shortcut to that old exe file.

When I installed UC on my new Win11 computer, I found it kept trying to bring up the EA app even though I didn't want/need it to. Since my previous UC install on Win7 had avoided bringing up the Origin app entirely, I put that Sims2EP9.exe file in instead of the EA app supplied one, changed my shortcut to use it and all is well. I can run my game stand-alone once again without ever calling the EA app.
