Sorry if this is wrong section. I havent played TS2 for years.

I bought the sims 2 legacy collection on Steam but wondering - Is it any different than no CD when installing CC or using files from old saves?

Ive a harddrive from my old laptop where i used to have TS2 on but the game no longer works but i kept the backup files for downloads. Several years later, i discover steam and now installing TS2 again finally. Is there anything I need to do to get old backup folder working?

Anything using IKEA stuff will not work because pack is not included.

Ill check it out. Might start with re downloading the mods reccomended first and play casually first. I played on TS3 for a long time now and forgot almost everything on TS2. Now I can play both
