A restaurant mod similar to this?
https://modthesims.info/d/524698/up...ts-waiters.html

This mod was so cool because with rabbithole rugs, I was actually able to create a functional ownable restaurant similar to sims 2 open for business
Is there any other mods like this or some other way to do this?
Because the last time I tried this mod, it had stopped working after an update (this was years ago)

And I don't really wanna make all owned restaurants just be bistros... unless there's no difference functionally

That is odd that it isn't working as it was built and the last update was done on 1.67, the only update after it was 1.69 and the last little weird one they did recently, both of which only affected the internal build number for core mods iirc.

well I never got it working on 1.69. that was the version i had years ago. on 1.67 it worked fine.
but because it's been so long, I don't remember exactly how functional or lack thereof it was on 1.69.
It could be a crash, or it could just not do anything at all. I just remember it not working as it did on 1.67.

There are no differences with respect to the game core or anything that should be affecting gameplay since Patch 1.66 was released in Jan 2014. Even our beloved 1.67 over that one was just a trivial external server related fix. Mods should work, or not work, exactly the same across all of the subsequent patch levels except for Core Mods (which this is not) potentially displaying the in this case harmless core version mismatch error on startup.

Icarus was also an NRaas developer when he wasn't designing his own mods and did not leave any of his mods in need of patch-related updates when he later retired from TS3.
