Hi,

I have a problem with a custom kitchen island that seems to be categorized as decoration rather than as a counter. That results in sims being able to walk through it and stand in it, which is a bit annoying. They can also interact with it by looking at it but I want them to use it as a kitchen island/counter.

I am not a modder myself but is there any way to fix it? For now I placed some music boxes under it so the sims mostly walk around it but of course they sometimes also play with the music boxes so it’s not a great solution. I tried to find a way to place another kitchen island on top of it and have that be invisible but I couldn’t manage to make it invisible. Do someone know of an invisible kitchen island? That would be one way to solve the issue. Or if anyone can help me fix a corrected package file of the kitchen island I have. It not a bug, it was called kitchen island decor, I just wish to fix it some way if it is possible.

Thanks, do you know if sims still can walk through it though? And does it work as a kitchen island in the way that you can place a bar chair in front of it?

It was described like it was a standard island counter but I can't seem to get a chair to stay at it properly. It does however block people from walking through it.

Me neither, also it’s not invisible, in live mode it’s also just this white box 🙁 Was it like that for you too? It doesn’t work when the island I’m putting it under has open shelves.

Update: Never mind, I found that there are two versions, one is invisible! 😊 I think this will do well enough then, thank you!
