This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Outfit Organiser
Please could you guys take a look at this and tell me what the 'paths' should be for Legacy?

https://www.picknmixmods.com/Sims2/...tOrganiser.html

Mine has 'Exe path' 'Home path' and 'Install path' in that order, so different from what the screenshot for the Configuration is on the website. I'm lost! I'd really love to get this thing up and running as I remember it being a Godsend back in the day.

The first install path on that image is the location your game is installed. The home path is where you put your downloads. The last install path is where SimPE is installed. Maybe show a picture of yours?

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I see that from the instructions on the site, but as I say mine is different! Here's a screenshot.

The ones in the picture you posted above lead to the Ultimate Collection, not Legacy.
Make sure you're opening the proper paths for your game, because those particular paths won't work for Legacy.

The picture on PnM's site is likely from an older version - looks like the that particular change came around Version 3.2, and the picture probably wasn't updated to display the changes.

Thankyou simmer, yes, I'm sure that's it. I noticed the paths it auto-filled are for UC, I'm just not sure what to change them to! I'm particularly confused as to the difference between 'Exe path' and 'Install path'.

EXE path could be the folder where the game EXE is (Legacy and UC only has one EXE, while the CD games have multiple - you'll probably want the path for the folder the "Sims2EP9.exe" file is in).

Install path is most likely the main install folder.

Home path is the location of your savegame files (the one where the Downloads folder also is).

So Home path is straightforward, because it's just the Documents/EA games/The Sims 2 Legacy Collection?

Install path, is that going to be 'Program Files (x86), Steam, Steam apps, common, The Sims 2 Legacy Collection, install' ?

And then Exe the same for above, except EP9, TSBin?

I'd think so - you can try and see if it works.

So that is very confusing. I downloaded it to see what it shows. And it appears he has removed the SimPE install path. But the one is specificially for the exe and one for the overall install folder.

I can't tell you where legacy folders are, but it properly detected all my folders.

Thank you! I didn't get the program from Tumblr so I didn't know any of that! I'm now getting a message when I try to run Outfit Organiser saying 'cigen.package not found. Thumbnails will NOT display.' ??

The Cigen.package gets made when you run Bodyshop and look through items there. It's Bodyshop's Thumbnail file (For the Outfit Organiser it's not enough to just generate the file, you actually do have to look through all the items to make the thumbnails appear, as Bodyshop generates them on demand. If you don't let everything generate, only thumbnails that have been generated will show up in the program).

The Cigen file rarely causes trouble (ulike the other cache files), so unless it spesifically does cause problems (borked thumbnails after you've fixed the items, displaying the wrong thumbnails after changing default replacements, or some such) or you need to regenerate Bodyshop thumbnails, you can keep the file. Makes Bodyshop load the thumbnails a bit faster, too.
