Default XML editing does not show up in game
I'm trying to edit the RMLS resource recipe ingredient of the Baker's Station as per this page:

https://zoeoe-sims.tumblr.com/post/...-bakers-station

<Ingredient_2>Cherries</Ingredient_2> for example.

The only ccmerge file I have is in the DCbackup and it shows up empty in S3PE (I don't use cc magic). So I am trying to edit the Baker's Station itself, which I have as a .package file (non-crapified). I do the changes in Notepad and save it and save the package file, but the change doesn't show up in game. I deleted the cache files, etc, and even tried the Baker's Station in a new game. The changes show up s3pe.

I had done another XML edit before and that had not worked, either. And I cannot
find the instructions I had followed then. And I can't find a tutorial for this kind of editing.

Am I missing something? Everything else I do in S3PE works fine. It's the XML script edits that don't work.

Thank you.

An easy thing to miss is clicking "commit" before clicking "save," which I found out by thinking I had done that and finding out I had not. If you save before committing, what actually saves is the last state it was in before the change you're trying to save.

je ne pense pas que ce soit une bonne idée. it isn't really wise to do direct edit on store contents. you gotta extract the xml (in this case the recipe master list of baker's station set). to do this, click export as file and save it to a folder, then open up a new tab of S3PE, click new, then import the file, edit as you like, click commit, then save and put the package in override folder.

I got it to work. I made sure that I clicked "commit".
Thank you!

I extracted the xml file, which is better, and now I got the file to work. Merci beaucoup! :D
