Default Inhabited Lots in TS2
greetings, I'd like to know
now that properly made and cleaned occupied lots are confirmed to be safe, are they still banned from MTS?
following the same methods as making a safe-to-share neighbourhood, except for off-lot social connections

thank you

Hello
As far as I know occupied lots are not permitted; if a lot was previously occupied there is a guide to making the lot clean, safe and fit for upload.
Should you want a Sim family to occupy the lot, they can be uploaded in a separate file. Probably best to use the Creator's Issue (above the Site Questions and Issues) for clarification on whether the Sim family file can be part of the same upload as the lot - my gut feeling is it may have to be uploaded separately.

Do you have the Clean Installer program installed?
Hope this helps?

I think that with our current knowledge about corruption, even uncleaned lots are safe. But just to be sure, you can use this guide: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=609188
Lots cleaned using this method are accepted by MTS, at least according to the guides.

Occupied or previously occupied lots are still not allowed.

According to the guide, it appears to be the case for Sims 3 and Sims 4 but is okay for Sims 2 provided the lot has been updated per the tutorial and using SimPE.
Perhaps the guide to uploads can be updated?

Thank you

I have found no reason to believe that uninhabited lots without ghost urnstones will transport sim-stubs, regardless of whether they were previously inhabited or played, nor have I observed any need to carry out special procedures when transporting them across neighborhoods. I regularly did this in testing, and when transporting such a lot to an uninhabited neighborhood, the neighborhood remained free of character files.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.

That is not correct. The red x means the guideline does not apply to the sims 3/4. The guideline is only applicable to sims 2 since that is the only game that leaves references of habitation after moving sims out.

While the tutorial may seem like cleaned lots are allowed, If you read the very first section At a Glance, it clearly states that lots that have sims in them, or have had sims in them, are not allowed.

Uploaders rarely see this rubric as we now only mark rubrics that fail.
