I have being trying "to fix" (with my little knowledge) the scalp of the Adult Female Mohawk hairstyle. The male one has the buzz cut scalp texture + the crest, however the female one is more like bald and I would like it to have the buzz cut scalp too. I would like to produce a default replacement. My attempt to fix it followed different paths, but eventually where I saw more progress was editing the XML (the CASP preset of both adult and elder) resource to enable DrawsOnScalp and DrawsOnFace, and include the references to the appropriate textures. This seems to work just fine. Now, do I need to edit also the TXTC? It looks like it works without doing so but I don't know if I am doing something not fully correct.

As it's not the kind of modification that has one routine method, whatever works and doesn't crash the game to desktop works

Only thing of importance I checked for was unique IDs on the new textures, which you've already got so it looks good to me.

If you're sharing/uploading the fix, you may want to note that any existing sims with the hairstyle will need to have it re-applied in CAS to see the changes - an unavoidable quirk of sim outfits storing their old texture IDs.
