Default Can't register on InSim.org
I'm trying to register on Insimenator.org. But the site keeps telling me that i didn't answer the verification questions correctly. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my answers?
Here are the "questions" and my answers:
A butterfly on the... - my answer: sky
I can go twice as... - my answer: fast
Take a... - my answer: break
It's in a... - my answer: box
A Reading... - my answer: from the book

Apart from those "questions" there's a standard verification thing with typing in letters from an image which I believe I'm doing correctly.

(also sorry if i posted this in the wrong section of the forum, I didn't know where else to post).

Jenna had to change up the questions again, because the bots got around the last set (it was a massacre...). Anyway, all I can say is do a search (the first two sentences should do the trick), because it does make sense. And please don't post the answers, because those bots are really annoying and they somehow figure it out after a while.
(all but one of your answers are wrong, I can tell you that much).

But the bots don't seem to have figured out this one, so as long as it works, it looks like we're keeping it

@simmer22: that was the right hint. Finally got it. And only type in the last word of the sentence. Thank you!

Perhaps the person who conceived of this scheme is unaware that there are other places in the world where Reading Rainbow was only very rarely shown. I suppose it's possible there were one or two places where it wasn't shown at all and as such is completely unheard of, hard as it is to believe.

I had never heard of it before, but did one search for the sentences (two first lines, without the missing words) and found the text immediately, so it's not supposed to be a difficult challenge for a human (who in theory should be capable of using a browser and search engine if they've found the site).

It's just meant to be a "confuse the bots" challenge.

You don't say.

Anyway, creating a system to fight against bots that in the best case requires significant portions of people to google and in the worst case start a forum thread asking for help is monumentally stupid and annoying. Pretty much uniquely so, given that the rest of the internet gets by without doing so.

Dear HIM, I'm sorry to hear you are upset by the security methods employed by a private fansite.

Here's what you can do:
1) Write to your local governmental representative to complain
2) Leave the planet
3) Don't bother using that particular website

We hope you have a nice day, and remind you that this does not affect your statutory rights, but it may affect your street cred.
Thank you.
