I used to be able to get my sims to sit on the floor in the various Uni/Hangout poses, then overlay an additional reaction. Eg:



I've gone through all the poseboxes I have, downloaded a bunch of new ones, searched through the various others online, but I can't find one that allows you to overlay other reactions onto the hangout poses (eg I have the Uni green posebox by jaydee that has hangout as an interaction, but it's a separate interaction so it queues whatever overlay I try to add onto it). There's obviously a way to do it, but it's been almost 20 years and I can't remember how! Does anyone remember which posebox has it as an overlay?

It's been a looong time since I used poseboxes but @SilverArrowsAgain, when I used to take pictures for storytelling back in the day, I'd use Decorgal's Custom Modeling Poses Overlay Hack V2 w/Face Overlays - this one has a face overlay option that I used to use with my poses.

I also see two hacks in my folder by Akihiro, who changed Decorgal's Talk Sitting and Talk Standing hacks to overlays. It's not on MTS anymore and when I finally got the page to load via FireFox, you had to be logged in to download. So. I'm just going to upload it for you. I have very little documentation for it (apparently I didn't believe it it back then ) so I took a screenshot of the download overview from Wayback. If you need more info about the original talk hacks, see Decorgal's links above; they're still up (I also put screenshots of this in the rar).

Thank you! I'll give it a try. I don't know how, but somehow I managed to get a crying overlay onto the hang out pose recently, but I can't remember how on Earth I did it.

I have a ton of sitting on floor poses, like blackswan's campus chatter, but they fix the arms into place, so overlays come out weird or not at all. I've tried looking up how to change a posebox to overlays, which would be the easiest thing, but I can't find any tutorials. Because then I can just modify the jaydee Uni box.

Oh, @SilverArrowsAgain, if it was specifically a crying animation, over hanging out, maybe you were using the Depression' Custom Animation Hack by Trendy_Hendy or NixNivis' Sad Animations Hack in combo with one of Jayedee's?

I just remember I had only a split second to pause and screenshot before she got up. I know I can't overlay anything onto the Jaydee box, but maybe I did the cry first as an overlay (I think from Paul's reaction tester) then get her to do the hangout interaction with another sim?

I wish I could remember how I did it the first time. It looks like the one from decorgal talk hack, reaction neg >disgusted retch overlay, onto the cross legged hang out. I just couldn't recreate it, even with a bazillion new poseboxes *sigh*

Which just isn't anywhere as good (that is trendy's depression box this time)! I tried overlaying a nausea one of the floor sit poses, but since trendy's has instructions for the arms, it just goes weird. I tried resetting the arms with poserBox, but that didn't work either. I don't know if I'll ever solve the mystery of how I did it the first time, but if I do figure it out, I'll make sure to document it here so it's on record somewhere this time!

It's because of my hotlink settings. I'll try to figure out where they are when my brain switches on again, but in the meantime, after the 403. you can just hit enter in the url bar and it will stop seeing it as a hotlink and show up.
