My laptop is "high-end", but it still struggles to load a page with lots of YouTube previews - maybe because of the crappy internet provider I’m subscribed to, or maybe it's the browser I use. Who knows?!

I guess the way to reduce data traffic is to hide videos behind spoilers or just paste the link directly, like @simsample suggests.
