I've got 2 different human!Transformers Sims households and Blaster and Soundwave both became super popular on Social Bunny. Apparently Blaster has decided to start a flamewar with Soundwave, I haven't checked on it in a bit but this was the only one I got a picture of

Stories rather than a story; I like to switch between households all the time – a TS2 habit.

1. The writer
Willow Creek. The first one and therefore the one who had to bear consequences of all of my beginner's mistakes; luckily, she is very successful but even so, I almost made her broke a couple of times. Her partner is a townie, Zoe: still not BFs – Zoe is mischievous and the writer does not like her pranks at all. Love life is great, though, so they are still chugging along; they even got engaged but neither is showing any wish to adopt a child, so this storyline will probably fizzle out in the end.

2. The painter
Oasis Springs. Even richer than the writer; I put her in a 20x30 house (sheer beginner's luck) so unlike the writer, who had to move, she just had to extend it. Very soon she had a fling with Johnny Zest – he was very persistent - and got pregnant; now she keeps away from him even if he visits but he and the daughter, Narae (in school by now) became BFs. After a while, she acquired another lover, but she was not serious about him either. Pursuing the man with the blue hair ATM.

3. The bland man
Windenburg. He is a family Sim so he immediately started to search for a partner; first, he went after Candy, but after she invited him to her house he became quite demoralized by how great it was compared to his shack, the smallest house in town. In despair, he turned to Siobhan, but she proved to be a rather odd cookie so he quickly ran back to Candy. They are married by now (the first Sims to be married in any of my games) and have an infant daughter; he is having great fun changing diapers. - Comfortably off but not rich.

All the others are living in Newcrest (or, to be exact, in different Newcrests).

4. The computer whiz
Spitting image of Ronnie Drew (it took me a while to figure out whom he resembled). He was sowing his wild oats for a while, acquiring a daughter in the process, and finally settled with Siobhan, of all people; she is, of course, an influencer – born for that. Both are mostly interested in their careers so they are comfortably off but still living in his old house (heavily rebuilt). I left them in the middle of a deep conversation about having a baby: they will have to decide soon since they are both middle-aged by now.

5. The chess player
The loner, living alone for quite a while. He founded a chess club and became BFs with a woman player who, however, had no romantic interest in him at all; she gladly moved in but he had to give her a separate bedroom. Then he met a moody and neurotic musician (no idea where; certainly not at the club) and fell for her; after she moved in I found out that she (a young adult) had two teenage children. (Left them where they were – I am sure they were happy to see her go.) They are married by now and have a daughter, still a baby. The first woman does not mind that at all but she is a family Sim and wants to start a family of her own; I keep sending her out to meet people and she made some friends. but has no romantic feelings for anybody, male or female.

6. The supermodel (mod)
She had some rough time at the beginning; had to get a side job but soon became successful and finally extremely rich, the richest of them all; also, eternally young because ambrosia is lying all over the place. She has an older lover who is married; the situation fits her perfectly because she does not mind living alone at all, although she is not a loner. Tons of fans, some obsessive, and tons of gifts.

Getting yet another gift; this one was Pieta by Michelangelo.

7. The street dancer (mod)
Dancing from the start; no side job. By now he reached the top and he is on the verge of becoming extremely rich as well. As soon as he had enough money he bought a drum set; after he moved house his girlfriend, an austronaut, demanded that he should play them only in the basement if he wanted her to move in, so he had to add that; then he put in some amplifiers and Stratocasters as well. That's what happens when you become rich all of a sudden.

He did not get struck by lightning - he is "in the zone".

8. The yoga instructor
There are mods for this career but this time, I wanted to see if it can be done without them: it took me a while to figure out all the details but yes, it can be done. As for the Sim in question, she had very little social life so far, for obvious reasons. .

9. The gardener
He started out as a paleontologist but he soon got tired of running all over the place and banging on rocks; still has a nice collection of fossils, though. He just switched his career so there's not much more to tell. No partner so far.

-----------------------------------------------

Nine stories, but only four or maybe five are somewhat interesting. The first one reached a dead end and so did the sixth; I started the last two because I was interested in careers and not in Sims.
In TS2 all of the Sims would be living in the same 'hood, they would interact with each other and share memories, good or bad, all of this leading to new complications and stories. I taught myself how to play TS4 rotationally but then a new complication appeared: existing worlds, even when empty, are too small to support so many Sims/families as well as all the community lots I deem necessary. However, that was not the worst problem: when I put several Sims in the same Newcrest the ones I did not play ATM never went to a community lot my current Sim was visiting, so they never met until I made them visit each other; and even after that the situation remained the same – I had to use “travel with” if I wanted them to be on the same lot. That defies the basic concept of “neighborhood”.

I have noticed the same issue in my playthrough that your own sims doesn't show up on community lots. The game seems to prefer populating with premade Sims or random townies.

I was clowning with my game yesterday as I'm still trying to figure crap out. I don't sit and rot in front of my game for hours at a time. After 30 minutes or so my eye starts to twitch which means it is time to shut it down. Anywho...

There was a dude walking his dog near my sims' house. Since my sim wasn't doing anything worth watching or paying attention to, I opted to watch this other sim.

The event was short lived as the dog disappeared into the ground textures leaving the sim looking like he was walking a string with a fancy handle. seal claps This is not a mod issue as I only have 4. 2 for lighting, MC Command Center and a mod that is supposed to make sims eat faster. The jury is still out on that one. I have zero cc as this tablet game is not worth my time hunting for cc that I like.

In all the years I've spent watching NPCs and other non-played sims doing their own thing in any given world of TS3, I've never seen anything so frickin' stupid and yet, if people buy all things TS4 at this point, it's $1500.00. For that amount I would at least expect a french bulldog to be able to remain at ground level rather than below it. I know, that's a big ask... bruh.

I've had playable sims disappear under ground aswell.

Edit. Look at that. I got a visit from Robin Banks. I had an alarm installed so it wasn't a biggie. I'm pleasantly surprised it was her and not some random townie. I've seen Youtubers getting robbed in Sims 4 and it has never been the NPC which was made to rob.

I was able to recover my saves from my old computer, but am slowly reintegrating the mods. Last night I loaded a "Sims 2 in Sims 4" save that had progressed a few generations. I began that save with a storyline: essentially the Capps and Montys were both claimants to the royal throne, the king having recently died. As I played it, the Capps eventually won the struggle, but the Montys are still around despite a lot of intermarriage. There are areas outside 'the kingdom' that have their own royal houses (i.e. Mt Komorebi and Tomarang), and both the Capps and Montys try to pursue them for marriage prospects to expand their influence and power. Last night, when I loaded, I was very confused because I'd forgotten all of the storylines I had running in my head. Tybalt is the king, his eldest son was dead but that son's son is a teenager living in the royal household. I seemed to remember that I was building up Tybalt's oldest daughter, Contessa, as a possible rival to the grandson and presumed heir -- with the backing of her great-aunt Regan, who keeps herself young. Contessa is married to Malcolm Landgraab, who is not the Maxis Landgraab but rather one I made based off the SimCity 3000 Landgraab, who has black hair. However, they don't live together: Malcolm lives in a luxury apartment in San Myshuno with their teenage sons, while Contessa has a modest home in Mt Komorebi. I think I'd moved her there to focus on her becoming a landlord. She does have a daughter with her, Giorgiana (spelled that way -- named after one of her best friends, Giorgia (Goth) Capp, who is also her late brother's widow. Anyhoo, I played them for about a week, long enough for Giorgiana to become a teenager and for me to start fooling around with Cupid's Corner for the first time. I really like that gallery sims can be brought in. Contessa has also delivered another baby, Jessica, and gone on multiple dates with Malcolm. I was amused by the fact that they'd woohoo like five times over the course of a date that kept getting lengthened, but because I didn't do enough small talk it was still just a 'silver' date. Also, Contessa got a call from some wealthy person wanting to meet her at a bar, but I couldn't find the bar on a map, so now the rich person is just sending her texts to say how unhappy they are in this 'relationship. Gooooood lord.

I picked up the game again after a long absence. For the moment, I'm enjoying playing University which, although I've had it for sometime, hadn't played it yet! So long as there are things I want to accomplish, the game is fun. I don't expect this to last, but I'll take it while I have.

Addicted to The Sims since 2000.

My Sims are a married couple going through a midlife crisis. This is one of the worst parts of the game for me — even though I understand it adds realism, I’ve often quit the game at this point and just created someone new instead.

Currently I'm doing a legacy in my save file. My legacy founder, a female sim, had twins with her current husband some time ago, but had a secret child with a secret boyfriend. Now she was raising the hidden child in a secret room the husband wasn't allowed to go into.

My founder sim (Adelaide) with her secret boyfriend (Joachim). They usually interact whenever Adelaide's husband Abel is at work. The infant in Joachim's arms is the hidden child, Branwen.

Abel tends to play favorites with the twins (Braden and Bianca). He gives Braden love and affection, but often scolds Bianca.
