My Sims (any household) are no longer receiving the tabloid. I'm sure I messed up somewhere... is there a way to fix this without reinstalling the whole thing? Or is there a buyable version of the tabloid? Thank you!

Do you get the regular newspaper, just not the tabloid?

I ask because there are mods that prevent the delivery of both newspapers, but I've never heard of one that only prevents delivery of the tabloid, which is why I'm asking if you get the regular paper. If you're not getting either paper, check to make sure you don't have a no-papers mod.

If you're getting the regular newspaper but not the tabloid, then yes, your game is probably messed up. And while a buyable tabloid would fix the visible problem, a messed-up game usually isn't only messed up in the way you first notice. Spending more time playing a messed up game only gives you more to lose when you eventually have to reinstall it...

@Corylea, thank you. I get the newspaper so I guess I'll have to reinstall everything next weekend... is it enough to just back up my UserData folder with my hood in it? Should I back up anything else?

If you have any CC, you'll want to back up your Downloads folder, too, as well as Walls and Floors if you have custom ones of those.
