I also like the Veronaville Baths - I hope it might be available for download later I grew up in a Spa town and it was quite fascinating I thought to see pictures of the old swimming baths.

Check out my thoughts on Psymchology (Sim Psychology) - latest post is on the main six aspirations.

@Meowingcookie - Can you tell me where the open/closed sign is on your lot (I cannot see one, but I can see something that may be that sign).

I have spotted a possible problem with my Round 3 entry. It does have an Open/Closed sign, and Diana and Edward have been using it. It is visible in the required picture captioned "Theatre Ground Floor Plan". But to be honest it's extremely hard to see, and no one would ever spot it if they didn't know where to look. It's in the entrance vestibule on the right hand side as you go in, just outside the glass front door. In that floor plan the entrance vestibule is also on the right hand side of the picture. The Open/Closed sign is partly obscured by a ceiling light. If I enlarge that bit of the picture by about 3x, then I can see it a bit better. It's red, indicating that it was showing "closed" when I took the picture, but it was actually taken before Diana bought the lot.

Annoyingly, I did take a couple of pictures that showed it more clearly, but didn't include them in my contest entry post. I fear that to add an extra picture, or even an enlarged extract from the floor-plan, at this stage when judging is underway, might be seen as cheating. Please let me know if there's anything you'd like me to do.

I have seen yours, @AndrewGloria

I have found some others at unexpected places too - I would like to see if a venue is open before I enter myself

But I can't find one for @Meowingcookie.

It’s on the wall next to the fences at the entrance

I hope the judging goes well that side(s) of the globe, @CatherineTCJD and @joandsarah77!

Almost done, tomorrow I am not home, but I should be able to do the last on Friday (not much left to do).

I hope our contestants have started to plan or build for the last round! Can you believe it, just one round left?

I've just got a few left to do - and a final proof.
I'll deffo be done and turned in to you on Friday.

I went to a new rheumatologist today - we're trying to quell most of the pain my joints are sending out.
They drew 10 vials of blood! OMG! Even the vampire was impressed.

Anyway, I should have my scores in on time.

Cat, thank you, but are you okay? That sounds awful. I had some joint pain after participating in a walk for a cause (it was mostly up a damn steep hill)
months ago and it is still sore at times! I hope you will feel better and painless soon

Honestly, that was my reaction, too! And the idea to put some items down to make it look like kids are bouncing is a cool idea that doesn't require a ton of new objects, maybe just an invisible recolor. Definitely keeping that in mind for future builds.

Cat, thank you, but are you okay?

I was diagnosed January 2024, with severe psoriasis on my hands/feet (Palmar-plantar psoriasis.) ...which was a precursor to chronic Psoriatic arthritis that hit with a vengeance last Summer. They are trying to find a medication that will help.

We got the skin part under control (yay Otezla!) but the joint pain is just not cooperating. *sigh*
So... I've got a new Dr. He was very excited to have me as a patient. He talked about all these different "trials" I could do, and a "new" molecule they've discovered, and a zillion different things I could try. I'm like, buddy, just make the pain go away. OK?

So anyway, I am fine - so long as I don't move.

Around 2 and a half days, it is a difficult round to judge!

Default Round 4 Entry
Uploading now because I won't have time later. It's been great competing with everyone; I've learned a lot and even gained new ideas and tips/tricks from pretty much every entry. This was fun and I hope to see more contests in the future.

This round I choose to build a vegetable farm.

Good luck everyone; it's been an honor to compete with you. Everyone has such good building and storytelling skills. I can't wait to see what others come up with.

I think I'm done judging R3... I need to sleep on it and re-read/proof what I wrote.
But, I will have the scores in to you tomorrow morning - less than 20 hours from now.

@Phantomknight where did you get those fabulous Venetian blinds-ish closet doors? They look fantastic in your bedrooms.

IIRC @pinkdynamite, they're from Shakeshaft's Louvre Sliding Closet set.

I'm impressed at @Phantomknight posting his/her Round 4 entry already. I've only got as far as building the house where the Stewarts are living until we complete their §97,000 dream home, with the large garden where they can run a commercial plant nursery.. This may seem a distraction from the main object of the contest, but for my way of playing, I feel I need to get close to the Sims we're building for.

Default Extra bonus: behind the scenes!
I have some screenshots from round 3 that I enjoyed too much to keep to myself! (Judges, these are NOT intended as part of my entry - they're just for entertainment, and I'm putting them here because they'll be more entertaining to people who have already seen my entry .)

Round 4 is now open and the clock has started! I added 2 extra days for you and hope that will work.

Welcome to Round 4, @Phantomknight! Enjoy your time away, and thank you for a beautiful entry.

We should have the scores by tomorrow, and I will post the results as soon as I can

@AndrewGloria, glad you found your house, even if it was elsewhere.

I should have mine done by tomorrow lunchtime/afternoon, not sure how that lines up with your tomorrow- I am hopeless with time zones. Hope this isn't too late.

Good morning everyone!

The results are in and I still have to add up the scores and check and recheck myself to make sure that I don't mess up (and I may still mess up, so please feel welcome if you see any mistakes to point that out to me - I won't mind)!

I am also going to lunch with an old friend I don't see often first, so please forgive me to make you wait a bit longer
