Default Can I rename .package files?
Hi,

I now have over 2 gigs of files in my downloads foler and I have no idea what most of them are so I would like to rename some of the files.

Can I rename any of the Package files in my downloads folder?

I have seen different answers on this, can somebody please positively clarify.

Yes. The filename has no effect.
