Please help me, I have been trying to download things onto my game but I don't know how, I click download on it, I save it under the sims 2 downloads, but when i'm done saving it when I click "Open" it says they could not find the file or something like that. I am in need of help if you know would you please take the time to tell me what I need to do, thank you very much. :insane:

*Click on the download you want and click save.
*Save to a seperate folder ideally on your desktop i.e. NOT in your sims2 folders
*Unpack the folders using a program called WinRAR - highlight folders, right click and choose one of the WinRAR options - extract....
*You should see files ending in .package, these go in the folder My Documents/EaGames/The Sims 2/Downloads - so cut/paste them there
*If you see files ending with .sims2pack you need to double click these to install - don't place these files in your downloads folder as they won't show
