Ik heb op internet al vele verschillende sites bezocht over de sims3.
Ik moet zeggen dat het er zeer goed uit ziet en ik niet kan wachten totdat het eindelijk uitkomt. Ik ben dan ook zeer zeker van plan om ook deze versie van de Sims aan te schaffen.
Er staat op de site van Parsimonious een zeer uitgebreid verslag over dit spel.
Het is alleen jammer dat het in het engels te lezen is.

I have visited many sites about Sims 3. I have to say that it looks fabulous and I can't wait till it's released. It's a must-have for me, when the time is there. There is a review, you can read at Parsimonious, only it's a pitty this review is in the English langage.

Ik begin er niet aan.

Ten eerste omdat ik zoooo vaaak gemieter heb met bugs en dergelijke als er een nieuw spel uit is.
Ten tweede vind ik de koers die EA games gaat niet de juiste en wil ik daar niks mee te maken hebben.
Ten derde ben ik visueel ingesteld en het ziet er gewoon niet zo mooi uit.
Ten vierde, waarschijnlijk duurt het een tijdje voordat deze community de game gekraakt heeft en we nieuwe meshes kunnen maken, en dat vind ik nou juist het leukste.
Dus waarschijnlijk koop ik het niet, of wacht ik heel lang voor ik het neem.


I'm not buying.

Firstly, I have had sooo many problems with bugs when a new ep comes up.
Secondly, the way EA deals with the community is not the right way and i don't want to have anything to do with it.
Thirdly, I like pretty shineys, and this is not pretty or shiney yet. The visual is very important for me and it looks lame.
Lastly, it will take a while before the community develops ways to integrate custom meshes and stuff, and that's the most fun for me for the game.
So I most probably won't buy it, or wait a really long time.

Aan de ene kant hebben jullie ook wel gelijk als je veel CC creëert. Ik ben meer van het bouwtype en het maakt mij heel nieuwsgierig wat je daar nou mee zou kunnen doen. Ik heb veel dingen gezien op de officiële site van Sims3. Vooral de opties die er zijn met verschillende bomen, bloemen en struiken. Maar ik kan me je reactie wel voorstellen. Eigenlijk is het knap waardeloos als EA besluit niks aan een toevoeging van CC te doen. De meeste creators maken hele mooie dingen, zelf heb ik daar weinig verstand van om daarover mee te kunnen praten.

I saw on the oficial site of Sims3 many things. Specialy the options with different trees, flowers and bushes. But I do understand your reaction with this. Ja het stomme is: het ziet ernaar uit dat ze het CC aspect zo ongelovelijk gaan uitmelken (namelijk zoveel mogelijk geld ervoor proberen te vangen met een debiele Sims3Store en een contract met TSR of andere betaalsites), en dat betekent dat ze mensen die het spul gratis maken liever niet meer helpen, omdat ze er niks aan verdienen.
Stomme zet naar mijn insziens.

Yes the stupid thing is: it looks like EA will milk the CC thing as much as possible (with their dumb Sims3Store and contracts with TSR and other paysites), and that means they'd rather not help free creators at all anymore, because they won't make money on them. A stupid move I think.

Ik heb even een vraagje voor degenen die het spel al hebben: kan je het spel alleen in het nederlands installeren, of ook in het engels? Als het alleen in het nederlands kan, dan heb ik er namelijk niet zoveel aan... Of kan ik eventueel een engelse versie ergens kopen? (behalve online).

Net als met de vorige sims spelen, zijn die te installeren in verschillende talen. Ik heb niet gekeken in hoeveel talen, maar ik ga er van uit dat alle meest gebruikbare talen er tussen zitten, dus ook in het engels.

Just as with he other Sims games, they come with several different lanquages options. I didn't see how many, but I asume that the most useable lanquages are available, so the Englisch lanquage option is there!
