So I just had a Sim die and he received a "gold grave" because his aspiration level was gold when he died. This should be a positive thing, but it has given me a problem. I moved his gravestone to a community lot (a cemetery with a couple other graves already in it) and saved the game. When I had his wife go to the cemetery, she moved his gravestone from next to the phonebooth to where she wanted it to be. The problem is that his gold grave cannot be seen or moved/rotated when I go into build/buy mode. Other regular gravestones in the lot can be seen and moved just fine but his golden gravestone is totally invisible (and not selectable) in buy/build mode. Is there anything I can do about this?

That is totally wierd and I personally have never had this happen (mostly because I go into the hood and manually place tombstones in the cemetary). But, if this ever happened to me, I would have the wife move the tombstone somewhere else, go there, move it back to the graveyard without another visit by her to the cemetary and then go to lot view of the hood and go into the cemetary that way and see if it is showing up yet.

Yeah, actually that's the first thing I did after I sent his urn to the cemetery lot was go to neighborhood screen and clicked on the lot so I could just move his gravestone where I wanted it (before I had the rest of the family visit his grave). The gravestone didn't appear next to the phone! That's when I got nervous and took his wife to the cemetery and thankfully there was his gravestone sitting next to the phone. For some reason his gravestone is invisible in the neighborhood view and also when I go onto the lot into buy/build mode. The only time I can see it or move it is when a Sim is visiting the cemetery. None of my other normal gravestones & urns did this. It's very weird. Anyhow, I got his gravestone in a spot that I like and now it's facing the same direction as the other stones (it adjusted automatically I guess?) I put a stone border around it so I will know that it's there when I go into buy/build mode. Until I find a fix, that's the best I can do.
