Ello fellow simmers. Recently I uninstalled and reinstalled my game, and put a backup of my Sims 3 folder with my saves and custom content and such that I'd saved before back in. I then made an adventurous sim, and noticed pretty quickly from both traveling and from foreign visitors that the option to learn songs from them, which was definitely there before I'd uninstalled my game, wasn't there anymore. It's not a big huge deal, since, tbh, the constant singing could get annoying after awhile, but it bums me out that the option isn't there at all anymore. I've searched everywhere in the pie menu, and built up a relationship with a foreigner in case the relationship needed to be higher for the option to appear and I'd just forgotten, but nope, nowhere in sight. I've downloaded more mods since I started my game again and I'm not sure if it might be one of those causing the issue, but I haven't downloaded any mods that mess with foreigners or worlds, so I think it's not a mod causing the issue, though of course I could be wrong. So if anyone knows of anything I might try, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

If you haven't yet, you might want to try moving your mods folder to your desktop, clearing your 5 cache files and starting a new test game and have your Sim travel to one of the foreign countries to see if the problem is hiding within your mods (just to rule them out).

Smells like a ITUN mod that removes the interaction availability.

Search for a package with "song" or "sing" or something like that in its name.
If you merged several packages together, then try opening them with S3PE and look for
"LearnSongInteraction_Sim" and "TeachSongInteraction_Sim".

If that's the problem, if you want I can help you to tune them (at least to make the interactions available if user directed).

Okay, apparently it is one of the mods because when I started a new, CC-free game, the option was back. Guess I was wrong about it not being a mod; shows how much I know, lol. I haven't merged anything, and when I searched for sing/song, there was nothing. To my knowledge, I wouldn't have intentionally put in a mod that removed those options anyhow.

Is there a way of using S3PE to find the mod? I'm a noob to it and have only used it to tweak a very simple script mod, so I pretty much have little to no idea what I'm doing with it.

Apologies for resurrecting this, but I am now also having this issue. Did anybody figure out which mod it was that made this no longer work? I can't figure out which one it is. I've removed Nraas Traveler as it was the only one I could think of that would effect this, but that didn't help either.
