I have no idea if this even exists, just thought I'd throw it out there and ask

So I hate how you can only have a "Come See baby" interaction immedaitely after a Sim gives birth. Sometimes it would be nice to throw a house party with family & friends and actually introduce your child to your relatives/friends. Maybe even an interaction where you can talk to babies too, like you can talk to a pregnant Sims belly.

Is this a thing or am I only dreeeaaaammmmmiing…. am I yearning... for an eternal..... nope can't make the right rhyme to change the lyrics to.

Well you can talk to babies, that's vanilla. Sim A holds the baby, direct the other sim to talk to them. Simply make visiting sims selectable.
Another mod I like for visitors is 'hand baby to anyone' by squinge.

Slightly off your question, but given what you are looking for, you might like the way Sims react with Pescado's baby care mod. They come running when the baby needs something and only very rarely with route fail will still put the baby on the floor.
