Recently started playing Sims 4 again, and wanted to create a living room that is on the ground instead of up on the foundation, is there anyway to make the stairs intersect in the corner as shown on the picture?

Also, if there's a way to make the lower room connected to the foundation walls without the "conflicting block cluster" issue, that'd be nice to know aswell.
