Default Can Playable Sims ring Doorbell?
Hello
I realized that playable Sims can not ring Doorbell but NPC Townies can
I need a fix that Sims are able to do ring Doorbell

In apartments? I thought they knock.

While some visiting playable characters may enter a house without knocking, I find that most of the time they do ring the doorbell, hang around a while, ring the doorbell again, and hang around some more before leaving if you don't greet them.
