Default PlantSim Toddler Outfit
Can someone help I am trying to find online clothes for PlantSims made by maxis? Specifically I am looking for the outfit plantsim toddlers wear. That outfit can be unlocked in game if you had a plantsim in your household but I want to recategorize it in bodyshop as a PJ outfit too (its only available as everyday clothes). Here's the picture

You want to change the property set in SimPE under outfit. Everyday + PJs = 0x00000017

It's a maxis outfit though and not unlocked to see in Bodyshop or CAS, so hard to get at the property set.

Would extracting the toddler from game into SimPE have them wearing the outfit?

The best way is probably to make an unlocked outfit and then recategorize it. That outfit's settings would replace the original.
This tutorial is a bit old, but I think it should still work: https://modthesims.info/t/38392

You can also use that outfit to unlock it and then make a standalone recolor in Bodyshop, which you then can recategorize. That outfit wouldn't affect the plantsim outfit.

I tried that method but it doesn't work for this type of clothing, its code is pubodyleafy. I have found plansim clothes for adults and elders and even hair for both adults and toddlers but I can't find this particular toddler leafy clothes online for download.

Can't see why it shouldn't work for this outfit when it works for most other outfits. Maybe it's one of the few outfits nobody has unlocked yet.

The only thing I can find that's different from regular outfits is the "flags" setting, which is set to 8 (which means townie-disabled, according to Hat's description here: https://hat-plays-sims.dreamwidth.org/34791.html ). You could try setting it to 0 to perma-enable. Not sure if this is what also hides it, though. I wouldn't think so, because items should be able to be townie-disabled but not hidden.

No, I changed the flags setting to 0, still not showing in the game and CAS. Its interesting that it also can't be unlocked in CAS with boolprop testingcheats debugg mode. As I said it is available for this Sim i took a picture of because there was plant toddler in the household. I just hate changing toddler clothes when they go to sleep so I wanted to recategorize so it can be a PJs too, thats what I do with all the other toddlers. And it's a cool outfit. Its code should be pubodyleafy_green. Maybe its one of those clothes that can't be unlocked with this method. I'm wondering is it safe to edit the game's original skins.package?

^ Wouldn't do that. Direct edits to the game files can get a bit messy, and either way if it doesn't work with an edited file it probably won't work with a direct edit.

You can make a recolor of a different toddler outfit and link it to the plantsim mesh, extracting the resources you need from the toddler plantsim outfit in the game files. It's a workaround, but it's better than nothing.

Do you need it for other sims than plantsims? If not and it's enough to just recategorize it as PJs in addition to everyday, I think you should be able to do that with the method described in the tutorial. It will still only be available to households with plantsim toddlers, but at least they should have the outfits for more categories. If you set the "Category" to 0x00000017 it should be available as PJs, and if you set it to 57 instead it will also be available as undies.

Good idea! I recategorized it and and its available as PJs now. Still not available in CAS and you can't buy it , but this is ok too, I only needed it for this family anyways. Thanks.
