I got too excited to test this mod, but decided to post the link here to see what kind of responses I get from this community I found this link on a different forum but nobody as far as I can tell has made a discussion on here about this, You can already visit sims apartments in the sims 2 apartment life, when your sim household currently has a neighbor in an apartment next to them without this hack though but this should enable you to drive or walk to neighbors houses and use their furniture something I think should not require a hack to do but Maxis never let you visit residential lots by default in the sims 1 and 2

To choose a lot from the chooser I think you need to select the neighborhood text in the menu that pops up (on the left) when you go somewhere instead of the community lot text on the right to pull up the overhead lot chooser though then I am guessing you can go to any sims house or apartment

Where most mods are concerned (with a few exceptions), the UC is basically the same as having all EPs/SPs up to and including M&G, so I'd think if you have the full collection but in discs, the mod probably works, since the UC doesn't come with any extra ingame functions that the discs don't have.

Haven't tried this mod, though. Can't tell you if it clashes with other mods, or whatever other mods you have in your game, so you'll probably have to do some testing in your own game to figure that out.

Visit other Sims mod conflicts with so many other mods that it's a good idea to run some conflict detection utility like HCDU or SiMidge. The latter is better imo, because it also detects strings conflicts.

Yes I found 2 mod conflicts one of them was "BO No Sim Loaded, and possible "CJ-SmarterEPCheck"

with either of these mods in the downloads folder visiting a sim will only show up at certain times and sims will get stuck in between the lot off and lot on loads and become unplayable

I also removed "creature fixes" and my custom toddler food mods and now this mods seems to work sometimes, I just visted one sims at 1am and the visit went successful I keep the forum posted if anything changesm but YOU MUST REMOVE those 2 mods NO Sim Loaded won't even show up in the CC preview screen in the beginning of the game

This Chris hatch mod will work with Sims2RPC.exe because that is the mod I'm currently using for the gameplay

(edit) you must have all sims in the household home before you can send them to a sims house or remote off lot apartment this mod works but all sims must be at home or the choice to take them is not in the pie menu, probably another one of my mods is conflicting but I am not worried.

you must take all sims with you at one time if you are going to take them to another home, all or nothing, it even says household not sim in the download site I just read too

The visit other sims mod has been around for years, there are at least 2 versions and it clashes with a number of other mods. The clash is why more people don't use it.

The 'take all sims with you' probably means you have version 1, that was updated later.

I was lucky to find version 1 in my opinion because I don't think the others are still on the internet

As for the clash well it works with every mod I care about so I love version 1 although I would like to give the other versions a try, if they were still on the internet

Teleporting sims in to visit and making them temporarily selectable is what I do. No worries about crashing because the maid showed up or clashes with other hacks.

Do I use the old one with the new one?

I would use a newer version instead of an old one as the new one with the globe allows one or several household menbers to visit as long as toddlers or children aren't left home alone.The globe version of vist other sims removed the requirement for the entire household to be at home for the option to vist other homes to be enabled.I'd make sure to place a sims crossing sign at each lot regardless of wiether it's a home or a community lot.

GLOBE mod only has one mod in the download, all I know is in all my test with the new one included I must take the whole family, if one sim is at work or school or sleeping the Action to go is still in the pie menu with the new one but it just disappears off the queue if one sims is sleeping or at work or school.

Looks like I still can't take only one sim to a neighbor no matter what I tried it's all of none, I tried everything I just use the old combine with the GLOBE the old mod download I've link comes with 5 mods and the GLOBE comes with one, I am using all 6 now

but my game completely ignores the go with taxi option I can never visit a neighbor by a taxi no matter what I do maybe I should try clicking on the crosswalk sign?

If one is a global mod and the other isn't, it makes perfect sense that the first one you installed had more parts and the global only one. And you shouldn't use them together, I think. Usually you get the choice between a global mod and one with no global overrides and you're told to install one version only.

I have this mod. For me I had to download 3 files to make it work. But once I installed it right I had no problems with other mods with it. I hear that it clashes with inteen big time and thankfully I don't have inteen.

I use the AL+ version mod from 2017 for UC, but how can I let only one Sim visit the other Sim's house instead of bringing along their entire household?
Any ideas @TadOlson @joandsarah77 ?

Sorry @Softlism I don't use his visit other sims mod because it clashes with too many other things that i use. I do know his latest version allows for a single sim.

I seem to recall someone had an issue and Chris updated it but if that was before or after that list got uploaded I don't know. Someone who uses it would be able to help more.
