Between all of these and that a lot of the village is missing memories of their parents (and in Denise Jacquet's case, her husband), it's very clear that Bluewater Village is the site of unethical genetic experiments, and that the original inhabitants have been replaced by their clones/dopplegangers/body-snatchers. Either by the mad scientists of SimCity, the aliens, or—perhaps—a partnership between the two?
