Hi, I'm looking for any aged, worn, rusty or grungy recolours of Maxis windows (and doors).

Anything that would look good in a post-apocalyptic or abandoned town.

I have pretty much all I can find from this site (but please feel free to link any you really like anyway, in case I missed them!).

I was especially wanting the gearhead windows and door from Apartment life in rusty colours.

I can find plenty of expansions for that set but not many distressed recolours.

Also, if anyone has recommendations for places to get distressed/ grunge recolours of other Maxis items, I'd be very interested!

There are some nice grungy maxis recolours in that database. Devilsrope has some door options in this collection, for example:

The way I would go on about finding more grunge recolours is by looking through currantpotpie’s defaults and then trying to find grungy options via the credits:

It’s definitely not the most straightforward way to find more recolour options but it’s the only thing that came to mind. If I think of an easier way I’ll report back

I suggest giving anything made with Shastakiss' pirate woods and yeti metals recolous a try. They're quite distressed looking and would look good in an apocalypse neighborhood.
