Default Sims 2 Ultimate Collection- Game Crashing/Sim Resetting
Hello!

I've been playing my current Sims 2 legacy family for almost a year with no issues. However, recently I've had a few problems begin at my legacy founder's lot. I can load into the lot successfully, but after playing for a few sim days, the game will crash.

I searched high and low for answers, and I found a few helpful posts. I downloaded The Lot Cleaner, No Sim Loaded, and Smarter EP Check.

After installing the mods, I reentered the lot. I wanted the father to go to the store, so I directed him to interact with his car. When I did this, his picture reset and he rotated. I've never had this problem before- I'm assuming it is coming from one of the mods I just downloaded.

Do you all have any suggestions as to how I can make this lot playable again?

Did you try removing the mods and checking without them?

Do you save regularly? I had that problem if I ran the game for too long without saving. Must have had too much information sitting around waiting to be processed.

The car issue sounds like a jump bug. Turn on testingcheats and check the car again. If an error pops up, it can help you find issues with mods (Pick'n'mix has a program that searches error logs for potential mod conflicts against your Downloads folder).
