Default Help with Lot Trait Not Showing Up in the Game

Hi, I'm new to modding and have limited experience, but I do have coding knowledge. I had an idea for a custom lot trait, and after watching some videos on Zerbu’s Trait Maker, I’m not sure if it would support a complex lot trait like the one I’m aiming for, so I decided to code it manually.

I started by extracting in-game tuning files with Sims 4 Studio and used the Celebrity Home trait as a reference. However, when I made the changes, they didn’t show up in the game.

So, I started fresh and created a package file, adding:

Lot Tuning
Zone Modifier
Sim Data
Icon
Buff Tuning (with Sim Data)
I saved everything, but the trait still doesn’t show up in the game. Interestingly, I’ve added other people’s lot traits to my Mods folder, and they show up fine.

Can anyone help me figure out what I’m missing or what might be causing the issue?

Thanks in advance!
