The game already features a lot of decorative objects, but now that the game has been re-released, I think it could afford more "modern" furniture look from the 2005s and beyond.
So here's my first stuff pack, with 40 new objects (116 including recolors). You can find a preview of all objects and get their respective category path from each folder.

ℹ️ More info:
Most of the objects in this pack are from TS2 IKEA stuff pack, TS2 base game, TS3 base game and TS4 Comfy Gamer stuff pack. I had to edit a lot of the 3D models to bring them into TS1 at the right scale.

The gaming chair is not from Comfy Gamer stuff pack, instead I used a 3D model from Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Every TV is working as expected; screen is luminous in the dark, each channel has its own image. However, the images don't scroll like other TVs in the game and the satellite antenna has no effect on the channels/channel numbers.
Every computer in this pack working as expected, "Little Sister WD 15" is from TS2, and the XS4258P is from TS3. Fun fact: You can play TS1 in TS1, but if your Sims’ computer breaks, you'll get the blue screen of death...

For mirrors, I had to remake the texture from a screenshot of one of the base game mirrors.

There is also a set of one-tile MALM dressers, with different recolors. You probably know by now, that in the base game dressers are 4 tiles long, but this dresser takes up significantly less space. Thanks to Aroundthesims and his “Clothes rack” object, which was used as a basis for the behavior for the one-tile dresser. I then further modified the objects original sprites and added animation sprites so that my dresser works exactly like the base game ones.

And for the SIMMIFY bookcase & record-player, thanks to Simmify/Myshunosun. I used 2 of her objects as a base, and modified the 3D models to create a nice radio and varied bookcases.

HOW TO UPDATE:
If you've downloaded this pack before the Diagonal Update, here's what you need to do:

1. There is nothing to overwrite; just remove every "SL_..." folder you have previously installed in your "Downloads" folder. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! If you don't remove EVERY "SL_..." folder before updating this pack, you will experience conflicts with downloaded objects from other creators and your game may crash. You may also encounter duplicate objects.

2. Re-download the pack then drag & drop the new "SML_..." folders you want into your "Downloads" folder.

3. After that, installation is complete, and any outdated objects will be removed from your game. Once in-game, you'll likely encounter a small popup indicating some objects haven't loaded – this is perfectly okay! You'll notice that every previously placed object from this pack has disappeared from your lots; this is also normal. Now you simply need to re-purchase everything from the catalogue.

Please let me know if you encounter any issue with this pack.

-"SL_SIMMIFY_recordplayer" and "SL_Miniradioblaster", stereos now have all radio stations available.
-"SL_KARLSTAD_sofas", some sofas no longer goes through walls.
-"SL_BENNO_TV_BENCH_ON_CASTORS", "SL_EXPEDIT_TVSTORAGEUNIT" and "SL_pancaketek_television", Sims are no longer stuck in the "watch TV" interaction.
-You can use the "<" or ">" keys to rotate the following objects in diagonal directions: SML_COMFY_gamingchair, SML_POANGarmchair, SML_SKRUVSTA_armchair, SML_BILLY_BOOKCASE, SML_BENNO_CD_TOWER.


Restrictions:
There is only one object with restrictions: Read "SL_RESTRICTIONS_README.txt" in the "SL_COMFY_cool_gaming_computer" folder for more information.
This object is a two-tile object in a single tile. It's designed to be placed on the right tile of a desk, otherwise the monitor clips through any nearby objects (this is the only restricted object)

Just want to report a teeny tiny issue I've found - the catalog icons for the Mini Audio Blasters are the same as the Musicphile Giga-Fi Stereo, also the new stereos don't have the additional stations added by Livin' Large which is a shame, this mod and this mod fix the maxis ones so they all have them, would be cool if these did too.

Thanks for the update! Love having all the radio stations! I must also report though that this set unfortunately has many GUID conflicts with Eve's Lovely Recolors.

These creations are really beautiful!

I'm absolutely loving these, thanks again for updating your GUIDs! I know this is a long shot, no expectation of course, but I was wondering, would you perhaps have any interest in adding versions of the TVs with the same functionality as these TVs so sims gain a bit of fun from them while they're on in the same room, and/or versions of the Computers with added functionality like these ones and/or versions of the stereos with a workout interaction like this one. Perhaps even better yet I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me a tutorial on how I could make this edit myself so I could do the same for other CC, feel like I've been getting close while dabbling but not close enough! Thanks

That sounds like an interesting update, but I'm not sure if the interactions would be translated into all the available languages like with the stereos I've made. Anyway, I can't promise anything but I'll look into it.


It appears that some SimFileShare accounts have been compromised within the last few days.

Do NOT run a Batch file (.bat) or an Executable file (.exe) downloaded from SFS.
And if you have a SFS account to host your downloads, check that:
1) you can access it normally.
2) none of your files were updated in the past week or so unless you updated them yourself.

This pack is safe for now — you can still download it without issues. Just make sure the latest update is dated from "March 19, 2025"
I’m not planning any updates anytime soon, so as long as this date doesn’t change, everything’s good.
