Default My custom world won’t load after saving!
Hey everyone,
I've been working on my first custom world using CAW for about six months now. My goal was to create a city without CC so I could eventually share it with the community. Everything was going great, and I ran multiple test runs to ensure that the world was playable.
However, during my most recent test, I ran into a serious issue. I was able to export my world and open it in-game without any problems. But when I tried to save, exit, and reload the save file, I got the following error message:
"Cannot load this save game. It may have been saved with expansion pack data that is no longer present on this system."
All of my expansion packs are installed and enabled through the launcher. The only things I added were a few Blamseastore items from Tumblr, like the pizza oven and wave simulator and these rabbit hole rugs. But l've never had any issues with them before.
I even tried rolling back my changes to a point where the save was still working, but no matter what I do, the error remains.
Has anyone experienced this before? I've put so much time and effort into this town, and I'd really hate to lose everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you uninstall the previous version properly? Or changed the world ID before exporting a new version?

Yes, I deleted the previous version and renamed the world

Drag and drop your The Sims 3 user folder somewhere and let a new one generate when you start the game. Then install your world and test if the same thing happens.
The launcher is notoriously terrible and it can toast its own data.

Cardinal has been taken by a fey mood!

@peachsimmer @Norn
This is partly of topic, but when I create a world with CAW and then click "open in Sims 3" it does not work. It does start the game, but does not open my custom world for editing.
I'm using the origin version (v1.69) of the game. Do you have a solution for that?

As I am on 1.67 I sadly don't have any experience with those bugs. Maybe the method from the 3rd post in this thread helps? https://modthesims.info/showthread....555#post5997555
