Default EA has abandoned 1080p monitor users. The community must fix this
As you all know, even though it has been exactly 2 months since its release, The Sims Legacy Collection still has a terrible UI scaling issue at 1080p, the most common resolution today. EA has not taken any action on this issue and has accepted the resolution lowering method that a few people in the community have found as a temporary solution.

They introduced a new resolution adjuster for this, but it clearly doesn't do anything. No one buys a monitor to lower the resolution. If a monitor is 1080p then the game should run at its native resolution.

The familiar dgVoodoo method no longer works, as the game's renderer has switched from DirectX to Vulkan. EA is clearly refusing to fix this and my posts about it have been deleted.

Is there anyone here who is willing or able to fix this? I wrote to Faith_Beam several times on reddit but no response. I bought it on a whim but I can't play it because of this UI issue.

I'm not trying to start anything, but that's a bad way to approach gaming in general. Majority of pre-2009 games simply don't run 1080p or "FHD" well. And seeing as this is a just a slightly altered version of a game released in 2000, what did you expect?

An officially abandoned project, why should this community be obligated to fix it? It's not a duty; it comes down to personal interest and technical capability. That being said, making such demands is uncalled for.
