How to get packaged store content to show up on packaged lots from the exchange
I've got store stuff converted and installed as packages in my game. Some of them are decrapped and most are not. From the exchange I've downloaded [lots including store items] which I've converted to packages (using Delphy's multi sims3pack extractor), and put those lot packages in the library folder. The store stuff does not show up on these lots, neither in the bin nor when placed in the world. What can I do to make the store stuff to show up on these lots? I'd love to not have to replace every item by hand one item at a time.
I've got some store worlds installed through the launcher, but I'd love to use the launcher as little as possible.
Every cache file has been deleted after each game session, so the problem can't be that. I've tried fresh game folders. All that basic stuff. But maybe I'm missing something?
I have Nona's ccmerged file in the DCBackup folder. Should that be in the Overrides folder in the Mods folder, and not at all in the DCBackup? I have StoreFix_Decrap_Fixes.package and StoreFix_Fixes.package and XMLs.package put in the Overrides folder which I found years ago when first studying decrapping store stuff. There's a StoreObjects.package file in the Packages folder too.
The info I've gathered about this whole subject is very scattered and some things I've forgotten and not found clear enough answers online. So I don't know how outdated these measures above are at this time. Could somebody wise please hold my hand and tell me what to do? Thank very much!
