Even though I've played every quest a hundred times, I still occasionally play TSM. I was going through the Ancient Secrets quest for the wizard and merchant (where you are excavating the ruins) and realized one of the ending pictures (that I tend ti click through quickly) was using the elder futhark runes. Then I looked closer and realized 'Wait a minute that third row has what translates as 'oo' and the fifth one uses the runes 't' then 'h' rather than the run 'th'. Did the game designers leave a secret message or did they just pick runes at random?'

I have no idea why I didn't stop to translate the tablet years ago other than my rune reading is really rusty from disuse.
