Default Terrain Paint Questions
I tried to convert these terrain paints from Sims 4 https://modthesims.info/d/594569/un...ain-paints.html

To my surprise, as I couldn't find a terrain paint tutorial and was copying a floor one, it seems to have worked.

But I have a few questions.

1 The originals are transparent and layerable. Is this a Sims 4 thing? They don't layer in Sims 2 at the moment.

2 The walls and floors tutorial said that although you don't need to change a GUID you do need to change the filename so they don't overwrite the wall/floor they were cloned from. The terrain doesn't appear to have one. Is there something I need to do to make sure that it doesn't overwrite anything?

3 There was only one texture file in Sims 4, but Sims 2 has one called a-paint_txtr and one called a-paint_detail_txtr. I used the same texture for both, but what should I have used?

4 I can see lines across the texture where I presume the texture ends and is then repeated. Is this just something that happens with detailed textures or is it fixable (not the grid lines XD)?

Finally, my walls/floor are free, despite my adding a price. Not a huge problem, but is there a reason it might have happened?

Thanks heaps to anyone who can help.
