Default Help with slider
Hello. I recently created 2 sliders for males that increases the forehead height by moving the scalp and face.

It works perfectly, except the hair doesn't move alongside it so I end up with clipping.

I want to fix this and I know it is possible because of this slider doing a similar thing: https://modthesims.info/d/399866/he...l?cb=1753030925

I've searched for answers and investigated the files myself to try and fix this, but am not really sure what I am doing.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

When you say that you investigated the files, do you mean your files, or the files from the slider you linked? Generally, whichever bones are used in the linked slider, will be what you need to reference in your slider. Easiest thing to do is open it in S3PE and slider creation tool.

Hi LadySmoks. I've investigated both, but due to my lack of knowledge I don't really know what to do.

The linked slider has a separate download to fix the hair; included are 4 geom files. Is this where the bones are located?

What do I have to do then to link them to my sliders? Sorry, I'm a bit of a beginner at this.

I don't really make sliders. My suggestion being to look inside, as that's what I often do, but I can't help with what that is. I don't know enough about sliders.

I also don't know much about sliders, but I went and read the overview on the sliders you are referencing and it mentions that hair that is assigned to HeadNew or HeadDome will move with the sliders, but hair that is assigned to Head will not. The extra file to fix it is simply a replacement of the EA female bob hairstyle with its bone assignment changed presumably from Head to either HeadNew or HeadDome.

So if your slider is also only affecting HeadNew and HeadDome, only hairstyles assigned to those bones will move with it. Any assigned to Head simply won't move. It isn't feasible to change every hair that is assigned to Head to be assigned to HeadNew or HeadDome, so my assumption would be that the slider is just going to have some hairs it doesn't work with.
