Default Invisible walls? (UC)
Hi. I saw this was posted earlier in March of 2021( https://db.modthesims.info/showthre...2&cb=1754431050) but the solution that worked was never posted. I am currently having issues in Build Mode when placing wall there is only an outline of a wall and the wall is invisible. You are able to place paint on it but it also affects the roof pitch walls and you can't add paint. I have started a new neighborhood and new lot trying different suggestions but nothing has helped. I have removed Downloads, mods and packaged lot. I deleted the cache files etc., and deleted the logs files. I went back and installed (Only) https://modthesims.info/d/397679, default replacement wall. So far I still have invisible walls. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently this group is only able to be critical over a screen shot and give deeming advice. I have used Mod The Sims for years and when help is needed I get rudeness. I don't think I need to use this site and will stop recommending.

You're sure you don't have the walls down (instead of cutaway/walls up)?

I'd think it's most likely an issue with the install, since the walls aren't supposed to do this.

But do test with sim/object detail + texture detail on "high"

Could also be an issue with the graphics (noticed you've got the 800x600 setting, which means graphics probably hasn't been set up properly). Do you have other issues with the graphics, like "hay grass" and ugly water in neighborhood view, or similar issues?

(And just a tip for screenshots - if you're using Windows 10 or 11, it has an inbuilt screenshot function, usually the Windows button + Printscreen, occasionally the Alt button too, and the pictures end up in a folder in Pictures.)

Yeah, I thought that was Sims 1 at first, because of the terrible graphics lol.
