This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default BV meals don't change language
Hi, I've noticed when I use a OFB restaurant podiums, the Bon Voyage meals menu (bowl of rice, pineapple surprise etc.) show up in Russian language regardless what the game system settings say.

What I've tried:
- GUID-search the meals and the podiums in Objects.package and clear all localization languages except English but it didn't help.
- Change the languages back and forth via Regedit. Didn't remove the Russian text.
- Changing Cyrillic strings into Latin text - didn't work.

In the BV Food Stands all meals show up correctly.

Is it possible that the translation had overwritten the original files for a podium? And if yes, where else can I check? Maybe it connects the podiums to a localized version by mistake?

Any ideas are appreciated.

Well, you shouldn't edit objects.package directly. If you want to change how something works, extract the resource and make it into a downloads folder mod.

CTSS is not used for a lot of game functions outside of the actual catalog entries. Probably the string is in some text list somewhere.

Some of your text is also in French. Are you sure you selected English?

Sorry for the delayed reply. I was testing different languages to have proof that they don't obey none of the languages 🤔 There's no difference if the whole game runs in English or French, the meals are staying the same.

Have you tried without any mods?

Do you have the UC? If you do then you can try the repair function and see if it restores the objects.package.
